Gavin is a technology transformation leader in our Enterprise Technology practice, guiding enterprises across APAC and EMEA through complex, large-scale modernization. He is recognized for bridging executive vision with engineering execution and for leading multi-year programs that embed cloud-native, AI-enabled, and omnichannel systems at the core of business growth and value creation.
As Bain's APAC Capability Leader for Technology Delivery and Process Excellence, Gavin partners with C-suites to reinvent customer and employee engagement, modernize core platforms, and scale agile operating models across their organizations. His expertise spans end-to-end technology strategy and implementation, enterprise architecture, and scaled digital delivery. He has built and led cross-functional teams of more than 300 professionals to deliver mission-critical systems in highly regulated environments.
Prior to joining us, Gavin was a digital and analytics leader at a top-tier financial services consulting firm, where he led enterprise-wide digital transformations and launched new digital banks. Earlier in his career, he worked in M&A investment banking, exotic derivatives structuring, and macro and equity research across London and Hong Kong with UBS, Commerzbank, JPMorgan, and CITIC Securities.
Gavin holds a master’s degree in international and development economics from Yale University, a master’s degree in international political economy from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in global business and economics from HKUST Business School. He was also an HSBC scholar at Columbia University and holds certifications in artificial intelligence and blockchain from MIT and the Wharton School.
