Innovation, style, imagination, inspiration: here's who helps us to make your office unique
Danny Venlet was born in 1958 in Victoria, Australia, by Dutch parents. He studied interior design at Sint-Luka, the Institute for Architecture and Art of Brussels.
After his collaboration with Neil Burley (1988) and Marc Newson (1998-1990) he opened his own studio, Venlet Interior Architecture, in 1991. His design projects range from private homes, lofts, bars and restaurants as well as showrooms and offices of large companies. An example is the recent 'Savagan' Hairdressing salon in Brussels and 'La Belgique des Autres' exhibition in St. Etienne.
Venlet's interior projects and design furniture are characterized by their contemporary international style. Venlet argues that objects arise from an interaction between art, sculpture and function. These objects give a new interpretation to the space they are in - with respect, but also with spirit. Venlet's objects are discrete, but not ordinary. Goggle Desk - Danny Venlet

"In a constantly changing world like today's, we cannot allow ourselves to stand still, because that would mean going back. My design concept is that of a well-rounded design. One must experience, communicate, find new solutions, but above all keep up to date, then interpret and translate in the best possible way the endless opportunities that the market offers us.In order to be more successful you would only need to clean, from time to time, our brains from all those unnecessary superstructures that have developed during our professional training. They have become obsolete and most of the time they are a limit to us, instead of guiding us in the right direction".
